The Savannah SS21 Duck Edition was designed with a low profile to minimize visibility and help hunters blend into their surroundings. The natural colored gelcoat and upholstery help the boat blend in with the natural environment, making it less noticeable to ducks. These design features are crucial for staying concealed from ducks and other waterfowl. The 8’ 6” beam also provide stability for hunters who may need to stand, move around, or shoot from the boat.
Built with the family in mind, the SS21 might be the perfect introductory platform for a new boating family. At its core, this model offers one of the most stable platforms in its class. The length to beam ratio assures your family rock solid stable footing and plenty of square footage on deck to move around freely from bow to stern. Additionally, a deep well cockpit ensures your security while keeping the youngsters inside the boat.
The popularity of this design as an all-purpose family boat isn’t an accident. At Savannah Boat Works, the idea of taking advantage of every foot of usable space was carefully considered. A day outing with your boating family often includes loading up the whole gang including the kids and a few friends. Carrying a crowd like this regularly brings with it plenty of cargo. Room for a crowd and all of the required tackle and toys, food, drinks, towels and other sundries can be tight. With a footprint of nearly 200 square feet, the SS21 is built to handle a large group.
As a multi-function vessel, the SS21 layout is ready for you to combine the day with a taste of everything the water has to offer from equal parts cruising and fishing, to water tow sports and sandbar lounging. The SS21 can be built with a simple water ready utilitarian layout or dressed up with a host of comfort features. Each optional comfort item is designed to level up your relaxation level while enhancing your overall boating experience.
Full cushion packages, bow to stern seating with backrests and a molded hardtop are available to improve your entire family’s comfort and keep you on the water longer. Navigation electronics and audio equipment along with an upgraded leaning station with a backrest and tilt-steering wheel improve the helmsman’s experience. Add as much or as little as you like to the base platform.
As a hull designed and built to handle anything you throw at her from drifting the shallow back waters or staking out on the sandbar, to crossing the big open water bays on a windswept river chop- the SS21 is up to the task.
